Job Title: Part-time Trackless Train Conductor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to fill the position of Part-time Trackless Train Conductor at select mall locations throughout Ohio and West Virginia. The conductor will provide rides to children and adults at your local mall. The position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to operate a trackless train safely. Our trains run year round!
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate the train, following designated routes within the mall.
- Greet passengers and provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Ensure the safety of passengers while on board the train.
- Collect fares and provide accurate change.
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the train is clean and maintained.
- Dress in the provided costume of overalls and a conductor’s hat.
- Engage with passengers, especially children, in a fun and interactive manner.
- Communicate with mall management and the company supervisor as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Have and be able to use a smart phone
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Have reliable transportation to and from the mall location
- Must be able to operate a trackless train safely and follow designated routes. (training provided, no experience required)
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to interact positively with children and adults in a friendly and engaging manner.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work 1-3 shifts per week, 5-20 hours on average
